BUILDERS: Designed by Bill Dixon, built by Marine Projects (Plymouth) Ltd.

CONSTRUCTION: The hull and deck are constructed from GRP. Teak and holly interior joinery.

STEERING: Wheel steering (emergency tiller).

KEEL: Fin keel.

SPARS/RIG: Masthead rigged sloop, Kemp mast and boom, slab reefing mainsail with lazyjacks, Kemp Furlex roller furling Genoa. Standing rigging of stainless steel (new from 2000), running rigging of Terylene, telescopic spinnaker pole.

SAILS: Mainsail, Genoa (new 1994), cruising chute.

ACCOMMODATION: Six berths in three cabins, 1 head, 1 shower.

Forepeak: Chain locker. Forecabin: Twin 'V' berths with infill to convert to double, cave lockers and hanging locker. Saloon with two settee berths, table which opens out to the full width of the saloon. Aft owners cabin with double berth, vanity unit with wash basin (hot and cold pressurised water). Toilet compartment (with marine WC, washbasin, shower, hot and cold pressurised water). MOTOR: Thornycroft T80 35hp inboard diesel (serviced annually) with shaft drive to 2-bladed propeller, Spur rope cutter.

ELECTRICS: 2 x 12v batteries (new approx 1999), charged by engine alternator. 240v shore power via 20 amp battery charger.

TANKAGE: Fuel: 35 gallons. Water: 40 gallons.

A great looking and superbly maintained yacht. The Moody 346 is a safe, comfortable cruiser with excellent sea-keeping qualities. She was first launched in 1988 - (hull number G3273), hull epoxied in 1992. She is well equipped and ready to go.
